Have you seen our new-look website? Te Mana have been working hard behind the scenes to bring our iwi a more informative and engaging website.
At the heart of the makeover was a desire for our people to be able to access information easily on the site and see the positive mahi the Trust is undertaking on behalf of our whānau.
An exciting element of the new site is the cultural resources section, which will provide a meaningful way in which our members can see historical photos, videos and other materials that have played a crucial role in our development. It’s also a way for us to assist our people to korero Māori and increase the level of Te Reo Māori within Ngāti Rangitihi. We’re currently developing new features to help with this, including an interactive 3D marae.
In time, this new section will provide online assistance in tracing your whakapapa and connecting to your whānau.
The website is still a work in progress. We’ll continue to update information and add new features, so make sure you keep tabs on it in the coming months.
