The application for an urgent hearing by Anaru Rangiheuea on behalf of himself and Tūhourangi has been declined.
Judge Isaac says he is not satisfied that the applicant is suffering significant and irreversible prejudice. He is also of the view that as the evidence shows there is the opportunity for the applicant to engage with the Crown, this demonstrates that there is an alternative remedy to an urgent hearing.
