We are pleased to announce that we have received a Te Arawa Fisheries Iwi Partnership grant of $10,000. This grant will go towards our te reo Māori initiatives, including keeping our te reo classes going until at least September 2021.
Classes are held at Rangitihi Marae every Wednesday at 5.30pm. Currently, we have around 20 tauira enrolled, and we’re keen for more of our whānau to take part!
We are also planning a reo wānanga to be held at the Marae, from Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May, as well as a trip to Tapahoro when the weather gets warmer.
All are welcome to join.
Anyone interested in attending our te reo classes, or the wānanga, can contact Alana Hunter:
