There was much kōrero, particular around our relationship and agreements with neighbouring iwi. We are of the strong position that these relationships and agreements will form the basis of sound and positive relationships post our Settlement, to benefit all our people. We will provide you with more detail on these agreements over the coming weeks as we get ready for our Deed of Settlement Ratification.
We assure you our negotiators have negotiated a very comprehensive settlement for our iwi, including a significant amount of land vested to be vested to us fee simple. What is on the table now for our iwi to vote on will enable Ngāti Rangitih to flourish well into the future.
