We had a great turnout at the last Ngāti Rangitihi Strategic Planning hui at Rangitihi Marae on 10 October. It was fantastic to see Trustees of Te Mana o Ngāti Rangitihi Trust, our Trading Trust, Charitable Trust, Ruawāhia 2B, the Marae Trust, and Ngāti Rangitihi registered members take part and share kōrero and ideas on strategic priorities for the years ahead, as well as our future aspirations for Ngāti Rangitihi post-settlement.
Some really great insights were gathered and there is the strong opportunity to turn this into some really high-quality aspirations as we move into the future.
We were due to have another Strategic Planning Hui in early November, however this has now been postponed to early 2021. The reason for this is that we acknowledge it is a very busy time of the year for everyone and so we would rather hold the hui in early 2021.
Where the last hui focussed on our aspirations through to 2043, the next hui will have a more specific focus on our aspirations and goals for the next five years for our Iwi.
