Ngā Pae Hihihi Training

Trustees and those interested in becoming Trustees are invited to undertake a training programme – Ngā Pae Hihiri – on 29 – 31 August.  The course is free of charge and will help Trustees develop their governance, strategic and economic thinking.  There are 15 spots available and those interested should contact the Trust office at Matatā on 07 322 2452.

Office changes

We have settled in to our new premises at the Matatā Tennis Club and have been really enjoying the increased number of people who have popped in to see us. We thought this would be a good time to remind everyone about the services that we provide. We’ve had people calling in for everything from hunting permits and registering to become beneficiaries to reading through our archives and connecting with whānau through research into their whakapapa. We welcome people to come and visit us and make use of our archives and whakapapa resources. Our offices are also the venue for our Ataarangi classes on Monday nights, and a warm place to learn Te Reo during the winter.

Update your details

As we approach our Trustee Elections this year it is very important that we have all the correct details for our registered members. If you have changed address or phone number since you registered, please update your details now. If you or your children have turned 18 since the previous elections, they are now eligible to vote and will also need to update their details on our database. You can do this by phoning Te Mana on (07) 322 2452 or sending an email to administrator@ngatirangitihi.iwi.nz.
